About Ila Illustrations
I'm Ilaria, illustrator of children's books, postcards, posters and a lot more. I describe myself as creator of magical worlds, traveller and professional dreamer.
In 2008 I left Italy to work as interior designer in The Netherlands. In 2015 I quit my job in Amsterdam to travel for a few months in Asia.
I still think that was the best choice I’ve ever made. Since then I’ve moved to Eindhoven, in a small lovely house with the only person in the world able to always be in a good mood, Mr. Nice Guy. My trip in Asia opened infinite worlds to me, it made of me a respectful observer of life and it showed me that there is not good without bad, no light without dark, magic happens everywhere if you’re able to see it. Short after my trip, I started drawing a serie of illustration that I named ‘Bright Shadows’.
I currently live and work in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and I work as freelancer illustrator.
